# Lex-Opt Archive Management

## Introduction

The Lex-Opt system is built about the Archive - it is the center for all data needs and uses. The downloading of data from teh external APIs is collected in the Archives and then processed and divided into the proper categories. The Archives essentially replace a need for a database (and its associated overhead).
